Christmas Eve Calf

After checking every day and eagerly anticipating the birth of Ginger's surprise calf, she finally delivered a bull calf on Christmas Eve! When we purchased Ginger and Stormy, we were under the impression they were both open heifers, but miss Ginger was looking a little round for a heifer. After quickly doing a blood test, we confirmed she was pregnant. Ginger is a great mother and we've decided to retain Bandit as a herd sire! He is so sweet and full of energy.
